About Virtual Innovation Academy

Don Tyson School of Innovation

The Virtual Innovation Academy program allows students to enroll in multiple ways.

• Full-time: Students in grades K-12 can complete 100% of their coursework online.

• Blended Enrollment: Students in grades 6-12 can enroll in the Virtual Innovation Academy and still participate in an elective course at their school site, which may include fine arts or athletics.

• Summer classes: Students in grades 7 - 12 can participate in some “choice” classes or credit recovery or credit advancement during the summer months as needed/requested.

Step 1: Please read all info on the website that pertains to your student’s grade level as well as the FAQs section of the website.

Step 2: Complete this info form to request an info call or meeting to discuss program parameters and potential enrollment VIA Info Request Form

Step 3: After a completed call or meeting with the VIA DTSOI enrollment team and determination of the best learning placement for your student has been made, enrollment paperwork will be sent to the adult/learning coach/guardian’s email address.
