UPDATE - NEW LOCATIONS ADDED: Lunches to go will be available for Springdale Public School students ages 18 and under Tuesday-Friday between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm at Hellstern, Sonora and Tyson Middle Schools and George, Parson Hills, Smith and Jones Elementary. Sacks will include breakfast for the following day.
In addition sack lunches, which will include breakfast for the following day, will be delivered Tuesday-Friday with deliveries beginning at 11 am. Please see the list of stops below.

We will not have school March 16th through March 20th. We are implementing our district AMI Plan. This means we will not make up the days we miss because students will do work at home. Your child was sent home on Friday with a packet of work to complete while we are out of school
If your child was not at school on Friday, Mrs. Hutton and I will be in the office tomorrow and you are welcome to come pick up the packet :)

We will have the Elmdale Cafeteria Meal Programs open tomorrow (breakfast and lunch) and will begin grab and go options on Tuesday. The locations and times for grab and go will be publicized tomorrow. Stay tuned for more information.
Our district AMI plan to begin tomorrow morning and run through March 20, 2020. Packets were sent home on Friday. We do anticipate resuming regular instruction March 30, 2020 unless instructed otherwise by state leadership.

Student and staff health and safety is the number one concern of Springdale Public Schools. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary of Education Johnny Key recommend school districts in counties without a presumptive case remain open in order to not disrupt community life, especially meal services for children and health services for all. The CDC guidance on COVID-19 is that short to medium duration school closings are not recommended. The major request is for good judgment be in place for hygiene for all students and staff along with social distancing. Springdale Public Schools will remain open.
