Har-Ber Aviation would like to thank Eric Metoyer, Eric Wydra and Stephen West at the University of Oklahoma School of Aviation Studies for hosting aviation students in September. The new Frasca International simulator was amazing. Students loved flying a full-motion Redbird Flight Simulations trainer, and the Adacel ATC simulators were a big hit! Even though it was hot, the students enjoyed their time around the Piper Aircraft as well!
Josh Landreth, owner of Ace of Blades Lawn Care, visited with students in our Plant Science class about career opportunities in his industry and demonstrated equipment used by his employees to treat lawns. Thank you for visiting our campus!

Students in Mr. Roberts' greenhouse class are transplanting pansies to grow. These plants will be used to decorate the landscape beds around school. Extras will be available for sale at a later date!
Students in Biology conducted an investigation into the mass of cream filling in Double Stuffed Oreos. They examined the variables, formed a hypothesis, then examined the data to determine if their hypothesis was proven to be true or false.

Test scores in math increased by over 10% at Har-Ber in the past year on the ACT Aspire. This success occurred by our teachers developing engaging lessons. In these pictures, students manipulated vocabulary words, definitions, and graphic representations to demonstrate understanding of new geometry concepts.
Students in the Har-Ber High School AP Environmental Science class spent time in our outdoor classroom gathering data and applying their learning. It was a great week at HBHS!
