
Welcome Ms. Amy Millet to the Wildcat Family!
Ms. Millet will be teaching Geometry this school year. Ms. Millet has been teaching for the past 18 years as a Geometry and 8th grade math teacher.
Why she is happy to be at Har-Ber: "I am excited to be coming back to the high school level. The school spirit and pride that Har-Ber has in the area is exciting. I am also looking forward to getting to work with my PLC daily."


Welcome Ms. Tori Wehunt to the Wildcat Family!
Ms. Wehunt will be teaching students in the Self-Contained Special Education classroom. Ms. Wehunt has taught Special Education at the elementary and junior high level for the past five years.
Why she's excited to be at Har-Ber: "Everyone from Har-Ber has been so welcoming and helpful, and I am thrilled to jump into a great team that clearly loves and serves all students. I am excited to be able to follow my students in their transition from junior high to high school, and continue working with them towards their independence and inclusion."


Welcome Mr. Phil Mizanin to the Wildcat Family!
Mr. Mizanin will be teaching English 11, AP Seminar, and AP Research. Mr. Mizanin has taught 9th grade English at Central Junior High for the past 21 years.
Why he's excited to be at Har-Ber: "I have always wanted to teach at the high school level, and Har-Ber is an awesome school with a great faculty and excellent school culture. I can't wait to be a part of the HBHS team and continue working with many of the kids and families I got to know at CJHS."


Welcome to Ms. Delia Gallagher to the Wildcat Family!
Ms. Gallagher will be teaching US History and Sociology. Previously, Ms. Gallagher taught for eight years at James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
Why she's excited to be at Har-Ber: "All of the people I have met so far have shown such "Aloha" to me, and all the research I've done about Har-Ber has made me feel honored to be a part of such a successful school."


The National FFA Organization released the results from the summer judging of the 47 different categories of proficiency applications.
Har-Ber FFA had 4 students competing with the following results:
Vegetable Production: Cooper Horn- National Finalist
Equine Placement: Emily Bailey - Gold Ranking
Sheep Production: Abi Kelly - Silver Ranking
Small Animal Production: Cassia Cobb-Bronze Ranking

Welcome Mr. Nicholas Jordan to the Wildcat Family!
Mr. Jordan will be teaching Plumbing this school year. This is Mr. Jordan's first year as a teacher. Previously, he worked as a Journeyman Plumber.
Why he's excited to be at Har-Ber: "This is a chance for me to exalt the trades and inspire pride and good workmanship."


Welcome Mrs. Taylor Heflin to the Wildcat Family!
Mrs. Heflin will teach English 10 this school year. Mrs. Heflin has previously taught 5th-12th grade students.
Why she's excited to be at Har-Ber: "I am so excited to work with the amazing students and staff at Har-Ber! I look forward to sharing my passion for reading, and encouraging my students to be the best that they can be. Learning is a lifelong path, and I can't wait to see what I will learn from my students and Har-Ber family!"


Welcome Coach Benji Mahan to the Wildcat Family!
Coach Mahan will be teaching Algebra II and will be an Assistant Football Coach this school year. He's previously taught 7th-12th grade math for 20 year before taking a break and going to the corporate world.
Why he's excited to be at Har-Ber: "I have been out of the education world the last two and a half years fighting through corporate America. I feel like I have a new perspective and a fresh start again in education. I'm very grateful to be getting that fresh start at Har-Ber High School, a place with high standards and a history of excellence".


Welcome Mr. James Bacon to the Wildcat Family!
Mr. Bacon will be teaching Spanish this school year. Mr. Bacon has taught Spanish to 8th-12th grade students for the past 15 years.
Why he's excited to be at Har-Ber: "I am excited to get the opportunity to enrich the lives of my students through world language education and to be a part of the Har-Ber family!"

Welcome Mr. Sam Becker to the Wildcat Family!
Mr. Becker will be teaching Medical Professions this school year. Mr. Becker has a background in Respiratory Care. Mr. Becker was in a long-term teaching position at Har-Ber last year, and is excited to be back this school year.
Why he's excited to be at Har-Ber: I am excited to be back at Har-Ber to continue to support the future healthcare workers of our community through discussions as to medical applications, the vast number of medical careers available, and life as a health care professional.


Welcome Mr. Justin Acree to the Har-Ber Wildcat Family!
Mr. Acree will teach AP Biology this school year. Mr. Acree has taught 7th-12th grade students for the past 15 years.
Why he's excited about Har-Ber: "I'm excited to be a part of a school with a legacy of excellence and a commitment to caring about its students and faculty."


Welcome Mrs. Abby Barr to the Har-Ber Wildcat Family!
Mrs. Barr will teach Algebra II this school year. She has been a teacher the past five years where she taught 8th grade math and Algebra I.
Why she's excited to be at Har-Ber: "I am thrilled to be joining the Wildcat team because I love the strive for excellence that Har-Ber stands for. I love working with students, so I'm excited that I can potentially have some students again!"


Welcome Mrs. Meghan Chiquin to the Har-Ber Wildcat Family.
Mrs. Chiquin will teach English 10 this school year. Previously, Mrs. Chiquin was a instructor at a university in China for 4 years; she was also a long term Civics and Economics substitute a Har-Ber.
What she's most excited about this school year at Har-Ber: "I had the opportunity to be a long term sub, teaching Civics and Economics last year at Har-ber. I not only learned a lot, but found that the students and staff at Har-ber are so welcoming and compassionate. My heart for teaching high school students grew, and I knew that I’d love to be a full part of the team if the opportunity arose."

Welcome Mr. T.J. Weiss to the Har-Ber Wildcat Family.
Mr. Weiss will be the the ACME house principal. Mr. Weiss served as a Health, Fitness, and Physical Education teacher and an Assistant Principal at Central Junior High School before coming to Har-Ber.
What he's most excited about this school year at Har-Ber: "I'm excited about building relationships with staff, students, and families. I am eager to learn about HBHS and how I can make a positive impact on culture and student outcomes. I look forward to connecting with the community and supporting teachers."

Yearbooks can be picked up in the front office during regular business hours (8:00-4:00). Yearbooks are only available for those who pre-paid. No extras are available for purchase at this time.

Tryouts for incoming freshmen are coming up! This tryout applies to incoming freshmen or those new to the district that would like to try out for the Har-Ber Baseball Team.
