Important Message- Our teachers sent home a Remind Sign up in the AMI packet. This is a way to communicate with each
student during this time. They are posting
ideas, videos, and special messages to their
students. If you haven’t already signed up please consider doing this, it is a great way to stay connected! If you are unsure of the Remind code for your child’s teacher you can comment below or contact the office. We are compiling a list now! GT students also received a Remind code so they could get all the latest info. from Mrs. Malugen
UPDATE - NEW LOCATIONS ADDED: Lunches to go will be available for Springdale Public School students ages 18 and under Tuesday-Friday between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm at Hellstern, Sonora and Tyson Middle Schools and George, Parson Hills, Smith and Jones Elementary. Sacks will include breakfast for the following day.
In addition sack lunches, which will include breakfast for the following day, will be delivered Tuesday-Friday with deliveries beginning at 11 am. Please see the list of stops below.
Lunch is on its way to the Randall Wobbe apartment complex from the Springdale School District for children under 18. Be on the lookout for the school bus.
The NWA Food Bank will be here for our drive-thru mobile food pantry from 11am-4pm tomorrow. We hope to see you then!

Springdale Public Schools will be on the Alternate Means of Instruction Plan this week, March 16 - March 20. Students are asked to complete their AMI daily assignments until school resumes. Please click below for lesson plans.

To the Springdale Community,
Student and staff health and safety is the number one concern of Springdale Public Schools. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary of Education Johnny Key recommend school districts in counties without a presumptive case remain open in order to not disrupt community life, especially meal services for children and health services for all. The CDC guidance on COVID-19 is that short to medium duration school closings are not recommended. The major request is for good judgment be in place for hygiene for all students and staff along with social distancing. Springdale Public Schools will remain open.

EAST conference is next week! This morning our EAST conference team practiced their program pitch to our SFLP parents and students, and everyone was impressed! Good luck next week Monitor EAST conference team! 🦆

Student led conferences will take place March 16th & 17th from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Our mallards are excited to share what they have been learning, and we look forward to seeing you then!
Looking for spring break plans? There will be a 5v5 basketball tournament and family carnival at Elmdale Elementary on March 25th from 2pm-6pm. You can sign up to compete in the tournament or just enjoy the food and family carnival. Either way, it’s sure to be fun! 🏀
We wanted to have an author visit the school to close out Read Across America week, and fourth grade teacher Summer Coleman had a contact. It was her mother, Brenda Turner, author of "Diamond Girl" and "Young Sam Walton" among other books. Turner shared writing insights with our fourth graders Friday. Wonderful guest speakers help make Springdale Public Schools #THEChoice.
