Brenda saw that they’re were coming in today and while I was at the district staff meeting, she inflated them and took them to my room! This was such a relief and so helpful and above and beyond what is expected of her. She is a great addition to our Sonora family were we take care of each other!"

The Springdale Chamber of Commerce featured the 57th annual Teacher Appreciation Event on Aug. 9 at Har-Ber High School. The event included a vendor fair and some $135,000 in prize giveaways. #SpringdaleFamily

“My name is Tara Claussen and I’m excited to join the Sonora family! I’ve been teaching special education for 21 years. Most of that time has been at Bayyari elementary and in a self-contained setting but I have been teaching Resource for the last 5 years. I love seeing students succeed no matter how big or small the progress is! My husband and I moved to Springdale in 2005 and just celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. We both grew up in Kansas and are big KC Chiefs and KU fans. We have 4 beautiful children, one son-in-law and our princess dog, Charlie. Now just waiting on some grand babies!”
