Arkansas Chamber Singers Music/Vocal Music Scholarship- $2000. Applications and more information, including eligibility guidelines, are available at the website. Application deadline is January 1, 2023
SkinCare OX- $500 + Organic Beauty Basket (2 winners every quarter!) We’re asking women college students to share their personal wellness journeys and experiences as students. To apply, complete and submit the short online application by midnight PST on January 1st, March 31st, June 30th, and September 30th every year. All applicants must submit a 500 word maximum essay on the essay prompt below. Student essays will be judged on their originality, creativity, and dedication to healthy lifestyle choices. Deadline January 1, March 31, June 30, and September 30.
MIT THINK Scholars Program $500. Application opens November 1. Students are expected to submit a proposal (of no more than 10 pages) before the application deadline detailing the problem they are attempting to solve, how their idea/system combats the target problem, developmental procedure, a timetable of milestones, and budget allocation. Selected finalists are invited to a four-day all-expenses paid trip to MIT's campus where they meet professors in their field of research, tour labs, attend MIT's xFair, and hang out with members of the THINK team! Finalists also have weekly mentorship meetings with THINK team members for technical guidance, helpful resources, and updates on the project's progress and are given up to $1000 in funding for their project. National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship- $250 - 1000. Write a brief essay describing your commitment to conservation and preserving our hunting heritage. Essay must be typewritten, double-spaced and should not exceed three pages. Essay must include: • why you will be a good investment if you are awarded this conservation scholarship • any experiences and background that demonstrate your dedication to conservation and the preservation of our hunting heritage • why hunting is important to you and your family. Foot Locker Scholar Athlete- $20,000. The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program awards $20,000 to 20 high school, college-bound seniors across the nation for being exemplary leaders on their sports teams, in their classrooms, and in their communities. The college scholarship, sponsored by the Foot Locker Foundation, is intended to help phenomenal student-athletes pursue their dreams of attending and excelling at a four-year college/university. GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship $10,000. Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Driver Education Initiative Scholarship- $3000 In America, an average of 34,000 people die each year as a result of driving. Many people are not aware of these startling and very scary facts, especially newer drivers. The essay contest “In The Driver’s Seat” seeks to have applicants highlight the importance of being a safe and educated driver. This scholarship seeks to reward six students for his or her submission dealing with the importance of being a safe and educated driver. To apply, submit an essay of less than 500 words in Microsoft Word format addressing the required questions. Deadline January 6
Bezos Scholars Program Each year, 17 exceptional juniors from the U.S. and Africa, along with educators from each of their schools, are selected as Bezos Scholars. Student scholars receive leadership training from noted experts along with free college advising and tutoring. Deadline January 7
Foot Locker Scholar Athletes- $20,000. This scholarship honors student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic ability (GPA 3.0+) and strong leadership skills in sports, in their schools, and within their communities. Deadline January 8
Automotive Women's Association Scholarships- $2500 (15 awards). Scholarships are awarded to female, North American citizens, with a passion for a career or advancement in the automotive and its related industries. Deadline January 9
Ron Brown Scholarship Program $40,000 (50 awards) Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Ron Brown Scholar Program provided you meet the following requirements: Must be Black/African American. Must excel academically. Must exhibit exceptional leadership potential. Must participate in community service activities. Demonstrate financial need. Be a US citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card. Be a current high school senior at the time of your application. Deadline January 9, 2023
The AAFC (Ark Assoc of Federal Coordinators)- $1000. awarded to full-time students who plan to major in education who enroll in an Arkansas college or university, community colleges, and vocational or technical colleges. Minimum 3.0 GPA Deadline January 10
Simple Texting College Scholarship- $1000. In 800 words or less, answer this prompt: we believe in the power of positivity– and in the value of both written and spoken communication, when used to uplift. Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarships - To be eligible for a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, an applicant must: Be a graduating, minority high school senior Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States Show leadership potential Demonstrate a dedication to community service Present evidence of financial need Be a United States Citizen Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21 Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4-year college when applying for the scholarship Deadline January 12, 2022
APIA Scholarship- Range from one-time scholarship of $2500/year to multi-year $20,000. APIA Scholars provides scholarships to underserved APIA students with a special focus on those who: Live at or below the poverty level, or are otherwise of low socioeconomic status; Are the first in their families to attend college; Are representative of the APIA community's diversity, geographically and ethnically, especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on college campuses due to limited access and opportunity; and Have placed strong emphasis on community service and leadership as well as solid academic achievement. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. Arkansas Game and Fish Conservation Scholarship Deadline- Scholarships are $1,000 per semester for freshman and sophomore students. January 15
Washington Crossing Foundation National Scholarship $5,000 Awards for students completing twelfth grade (or final high school year) who are planning careers in government service. Requires One Page essay stating why you plan a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware. This essay must be accompanied by a recommendation from the high school principal or guidance counselor evaluating the student's achievements, along with transcripts, national testing scores, and other supporting information of the applicant's choice as described in the Official Rules. Providian Medical Scholarship $500.To apply for the scholarship, you must submit an original essay of up to 1,500 words that describes how medical equipment technology has changed the face of a college course and curriculum. Entries can also include a look toward the future and how this area of study will continue to evolve and advance. Deadline January 15
MENSA US Scholarship- $2,500. There are two requirements for applicants: Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning during the academic year following the application date. NASF Scholarship (Natl Assoc for Surface Finishing)- 2 awards $1,500. NASF has a mission to advance an environmentally sustainable future. The association offers scholarships to college students majoring in subjects related to surface science. Scholarships will be awarded based on career interest, academic achievement, motivation and potential. Live Mas Scholarship- $25,000 (200 awards) This scholarship is for students who are passionate about creating a better future and making a positive impact on their community. This is not needs or achievement based; it is a passion-based scholarship program. Deadline January 20
THEA Foundation Visual Arts Scholarships- Range from $3000- 10,000. Deadline January 21
National Beta Scholarships- $20,000 12th grade students who are active National Beta members are eligible to apply and participate in the scholarship competition. Deadline January 21
US Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation $1000. Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The Point Foundation Scholarship- Applicants must have a proven track record of leadership and community involvement, strong academic achievement. working for the betterment of the LGBTQ community, financial need. Deadline January 25

Technology Addiction Scholarship $1000. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, young people spend an average of 7.5 hours a day consuming media. While it can be challenging to unplug from all of the electronics, taking a break from technology can be healthy for the mind and body. Digitally Responsible is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students who can describe what they would rather do to replace spending time with technology. Deadline January 30

Redfin Scholarship- $2500 (2 awards available) This $2,500 scholarship is a way for Redfin to help one student on his or her journey through higher education. The scholarship application period will occur twice yearly with awards delegated in both the Spring and Fall. The Spring application period is from November 1-January 31 of each year. The Fall application period is from May 1-July 31 of each year. Complete the following form within the designated application periods.
Courageous Persuaders Competition- $1000-2000 The Detroit Auto Dealers Association is passionate about preventing underage drinking and texting while driving. Their Courageous Persuaders Competition encourages high school students to create a 30-second television commercial about the dangers of underage drinking or texting while driving. Students’ videos will be judged by middle school classrooms for persuasiveness. All high school students are eligible to apply and may submit more than one commercial. Deadline Jan 31
NWA CTE Leadership Award- $1000 NWACC Scholarship or One semester tuition waiver from NWTI. Deadline January 31
Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship- $10,000 per year-The Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship is the most academically rigorous scholarship program offered for those graduating seniors scoring either 32 on the ACT or 1410 on the SAT, and a 3.50 academic grade point average. Those who are named National Merit Finalists or National Achievement Scholars may qualify without meeting the GPA requirement, but must still meet the ACT/SAT requirement. The scholarship pays tuition, mandatory fees, room and board up to $10,000 per year. Deadline: February 1

Ataya Kaser Memorial Scholarship - $4,000 (2) This year applicants will create a one to three minute video detailing a state's Safe Haven Law or explaining the purpose of anonymous surrender at a Safe Haven Baby Box location. These videos will be shared across social media, namely TikTok, as a public service announcement. The new format of the scholarship will allow students to be creative, but also create awareness for Safe Haven Law. Deadline: February 1
Marsha Daves Memorial Scholarship - $1000. The scholarship will recognize how SkillsUSA student leaders are empowered by the skills they have gained through their association with SkillsUSA to fulfill the mission of becoming world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship - $10,000 (100) SME Education Foundation scholarships provide financial support to students pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline closely related to manufacturing or a technology field of study related to manufacturing. Deadline: February 1
John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund for Art Education- $500-5,000 To create opportunities in the art profession, Anna Lee Stacey established a scholarship program that encourages students to pursue a career in the art industry. This scholarship is open to all students ages 18–35 who aim to make art their profession. Simply submit an online application and an original art piece that highlights the following traditions of Western culture: Form, Color, Drawing, Painting. DEADLINE: February 1
AWM Scholarships (Assoc for Women in Mathematics) - $500 To increase awareness of women’s ongoing contributions to the mathematical sciences. Essay contest for biographies of contemporary women mathematicians and statisticians in academic, industrial, and government careers. The essays will be based primarily on an interview with a woman currently working in a mathematical sciences career. Deadline: February 1
The Door of Opportunity Scholarship - $12,500 (87). A 4-year college/university/vocational scholarship that can be used in-state or out-of-state. There is no minimum GPA requirement and test scores are not asked for. The only eligibility requirement is that the student have financial need, but they do not need to receive federal aid to qualify. Deadline: February 1
P.E.O. Scholarship $1,000 P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; Educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, and stewardship of Cottey College and Motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. Deadline: February 1
THEA Foundation Film Scholarship- $8,000 - $10,000 (3) Thea scholarships are awarded solely on talent, never test scores, GPAs or intent to major in the arts. Your scholarship will travel with you to any college you attend, but if you choose to attend one of our more than 20 education partners, your scholarship could be matched with additional scholarship money. Thea scholarships are open to students who attend public, private, charter or home schools, as well as those who have completed their GED. The American Meteorological Society (AMS)- $1,000–$25,000 (22) The AMS administers an array of scholarships for undergraduate students. The society wants to further the education of outstanding students who are pursuing a career in atmospheric, oceanic or hydrologic sciences. McDonald's HACER Scholarships- $100,000 (30) McDonald's HACER Program was created in 1985 to grant eligible Hispanic students financial aid so they can achieve their dreams through higher education. Since then, we've awarded over 31 million dollars and over 17,800 scholarships. Deadline: February 5

Elks Legacy Awards up to $4000 Any child or grandchild (or stepchild, step-grandchild or legal ward) of an Elk who joined the Order on or before April 1, 2019, is eligible to apply. Legacy scholars are required to serve with a Lodge every year. Deadline: February 7
Davidson Fellows Scholarship- up to $50,000.We award $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to gifted and high-achieving students, 18 years old or under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Deadline: February 9
THEA Foundation Fashion Design- $8,000- $10,000 Each year, dozens of brilliant homemade creations come before our judges. Thea's 2022 Fashion Design Scholarship Competition judges include the following celebrated Arkansas designers: Korto Momolu Briggs, Bryant Phelan, Linda Rowe Thomas. and a fashion instructor from Savannah College of Art and Design. National Society Daughters of the American Revolution- $5,000. This Richard and Elizabeth Dean Scholarship awards $5,000 each year for up to four consecutive years to two graduating high school seniors. The selection process shall be based on academic merit with an initial minimum GPA of 4.0. Renewal is conditional upon maintenance of a GPA of 3.25. Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship- $50,000 (7) The Gordon A. Rich Foundation keeps the legacy of its founder alive by supporting those with limited resources. The foundation would like to offer scholarships to students whose parents have a career in the financial services industry. The Vegetarian Resource Group- $5,000 (3) & 10,000 (1). The Vegetarian Resource Group (VRG) is committed to educating the public on vegetarianism and veganism. To support those who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools or communities, the VRG is awarding scholarships to three outstanding high school students. Alzheimer's Foundation of America- $5,000. Applicants are asked to write an essay (1,500 word maximum) describing the impact of Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia-related illness on themselves, their families or their communities, and what they have learned from it. Deadline: March 1
UBC Family Epilepsy Scholarship- up to $10,000 . 30 scholarships of up to $5,000 and three scholarships of up to $10,000 to people living with epilepsy, their family members, and caregivers pursuing higher education. Deadline: March 1
SEG Scholarship- $500 - $10,000 per year. Based on merit. To qualify, you must be a student who: Is a high school senior planning to attend college next year or an undergraduate or graduate college student; Has above average grades; Is intending to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in applied geophysics. Arkansas School Plant Management Association - $5,000 The Arkansas School Plant Management Association (ASPMA) seeks to promote the continuation of education by offering scholarships to students in search of a vocational, associate or bachelor’s degree. Any graduating high school senior is eligible to apply for a scholarship. A total of $18,000 is budgeted this year for this program for individuals based on the selection criteria. Univ of Ark Montcello- EAST Initiative Scholarship- The EAST scholarship provides high school seniors who participate in their campus EAST programs the opportunity to earn a 12-15 hour tuition scholarship while attending the University of Arkansas at Monticello. UAM awards two per year. Criteria is below:
EAST Scholarship Award: Tuition for up to 15 academic hours of credit, beginning the fall semester immediately following the high school senior year. Eligibility: Any high school graduating senior is eligible to apply who completes a scholarship application, shows proof of at least two years of active involvement in a recognized high school EAST program, has a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average, a minimum ACT composite score of 19 or comparable SAT score and a minimum score of 19 in English, Reading, and Mathematics, and provides two letters of reference regarding EAST service and performance. Any major in any degree program offered by UAM is accepted. Selected award(s) must be used the first semester immediately following high school graduation and will be made by the Scholarship Committee. Additional Criteria: Any student selected for this award will be required to complete an assignment on campus for a minimum of 10 hours per week each semester the award is made. Scholarship is awarded towards a minimum two-semester medium/heavy duty truck technician program from a school that is within the state of Arkansas. Students may begin their course of study in either August or January based on individual program requirements.
Before the scholarship is awarded, ATA must verify your acceptance from the chosen school.
Scholarship will be split into 2 payments. In order to qualify for second payment at halfway point of program, student must provide proof of continued enrollment and transcript showcasing a GPA of 2.8 or above, overall.
There are two portions of the application. The first portion is to be completed by you and your parent/guardian (if you are under 18).
The second portion is for officials from your high school (teachers, counselors, principals, and coaches) to provide information about you. After providing the Authorization to Release Information, we will email this form to the email address provided for your high school official. You may also download and print copies of this section if you wish to request more than one school official who knows you well to complete the forms.
