If you have 3 or 4 year old children, Westwood still has some PreK spots open! Go to https://ecc.sdale.org/o/springdale-prek/page/enrollment for more information, and we will have some PreK registration packets in our office next week!

Our front office will be open on Monday, July 21st for enrollment, questions, etc. We hope you're having a good summer so far!

We’re thrilled to welcome some amazing new faces to our Westwood family! Our new teachers bring fresh energy, big hearts, and a shared passion for helping every student thrive. We’re so excited to have them in our building and can’t wait to see the incredible things they’ll do this year! Help us give Mrs. Hermon (Kindergarten), Mrs. Avitts (Kindergarten), Ms. Maroney (4th Grade), Ms. Barnes (5th Grade) and Mrs. Schroeder (5th Grade) a big shout-out as they start this exciting new journey! #SpringdaleFamily

Jumpstart just got a little furrier and a whole lot more fun! Hazel stopped by to visit our students, bringing tail wags, high-fives, and smiles all around. She loved meeting our newest Wolves and cheering them on as they explore and get ready for the school year. There’s nothing like a little puppy love to make learning even more exciting! #SpringdaleFamily

Our Jumpstart students are really getting into the groove! From learning routines to making new friends and exploring their classrooms, it’s been amazing to see their confidence grow each day. We’re so proud of how quickly they’re settling in and can’t wait to see all the learning and fun ahead! #SpringdaleFamily

Another awesome day of Kindergarten Jumpstart is in the books! Our littlest Wolves are growing more confident each day, and today was extra special. We welcomed our amazing community partners from Apple Seeds, who brought the fun (and the veggies!) as students learned more about healthy foods and got to take home some tasty veggies! We also celebrated a very important member of our pack—Ms. Aleman, our wonderful registrar! Thank you for always welcoming our families with a smile and helping everything run so smoothly. We’re lucky to have you! Every day just keeps getting better and better! #SpringdaleFamily

We had an amazing first day of Kindergarten Jump Start with our littlest Wolves! It was such a joy to welcome our newest pack members and watch our Alpha Team leaders step up to guide them as they explored their new school home. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! It’s only going to get better from here! #SpringdaleFamily

Shoutout to our amazing Alpha Team for volunteering their time to help distribute fresh produce to our families this week! A big thank you to Apple Seeds for their continued partnership and support. Our summer program is out of this world! This week, our students explored a space theme by building and painting their very own planets. They even created beautiful planet and solar system bouquets blending science, creativity, and a whole lot of imagination! #SpringdaleFamily

As part of the fun, students also painted bee-themed rocks to celebrate these amazing pollinators and take home a special reminder of what they learned. Scroll down to enjoy a couple more pictures from our buzzing adventure—we love seeing our students so engaged and curious!

Our students had a "sweet" time learning all about bees! They explored the important role bees play in our environment, got an up-close look at how hives work, and even had the chance to taste fresh honey straight from the source. Nothing like a little hands-on learning to make the lesson stick! A big shout out to Mrs. Lassiter & Mrs. Mackey for sharing their time, knowledge, and passion with our students—you made this experience unforgettable! #SpringdaleFamily

Week 3 of our Summer Program has been a wild success! Our students have been learning all about the wonders of the outdoors and discovering what it means to be true nature explorers. We’re proud of all their discoveries and can’t wait to see where their next adventure takes them! #SpringdaleFamily

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Davis family for generously providing lunch for our staff on the last day of school. Your kindness and support mean the world to us and were the perfect way to end the year on a high note! Your thoughtful gesture reminded us once again of how lucky we are to have such a wonderful school community. Thank you for helping us celebrate the close of another WONDERful year! 💕
