Sarah Miller graduated from Harrison High School in Harrison, Ar.  She earned a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education from Arkansas Tech University and a Masters in Music Education from the University of Central Arkansas.  Ms. Miller is licensed to teach K-12 band, choir, and music.  After beginning her career in Two Rivers, where she taught for two years, she taught in Danville for five years.  Ms. Miller has been teaching at SHS for six years and is the SHS Symphonic and Jazz Band director. She assists with the SHS Marching Band in the fall.  In addition to teaching at SHS, Ms. Miller teaches 7th-grade flute at JO Kelly and Sonora Middle Schools. She enjoys kayaking, biking, billiards, and traveling when not teaching.  Ms. Miller plays trumpet in the Arkansas Wind Community Band and plays the Tenor Horn in the Ozark Mountain British Brass Band.
