Springdale High School will follow its regular 7 period schedule during the remote learning day tomorrow. During the scheduled class time, teachers will be available to assist students via Zoom, email, and /or Google Classrom. Students, please do not hesitate toreach out to your teachers if you need assistance.

It’s National Apprenticeship Week! Did you know that completing an apprenticeship can help to accelerate your career? 1 in 5 companies have a former apprentice at board level! Today we are highlighting Mathew Tatum who is working as a Marine Mechanics apprentice with White River Marine. Mathew has worked with White River Marine this past year and really enjoys the work he does and the on the job training he is earning throughout the school year and hopes to continue working in Marine Mechanics upon graduation from high school in May. Mathew is involved in the SHS Agriculture Academy, FFA, JAG and raising show animals. Keep up the good work Mathew!
We are continuing to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week! Did you know that 89% of employers reported that apprenticeships helped their business improve the quality of their product or service? Today we want to celebrate Daniel Bejarano. Daniel is a Senior at SHS who works as a Construction Apprentice with Nabholz. Daniel has worked with Nabholz for the past 2 school years and enjoys the work he does in the shop. Daniel is involved in the SHS Agriculture Academy and JAG. Daniel feels like he is learning valuable skills in his apprenticeship that will help to accelerate his career upon graduation. We are so proud of your commitment to your work Daniel!

Today we want to celebrate Matthew Thomas, one of our SHS Seniors who is a Construction Apprentice with Nabholz. Matthew has worked with Nabholz for the past two years. Outside of his work schedule Matthew is involved in the SHS Agriculture Academy, FFA, raising show animals and JAG. Matthew enjoys being outdoors and on the go and is excited about his future after graduation because of the valuable skills he has learned on the job and in his CTE programs of study. We are proud of you Matthew!
