What is an Internship?
In Arkansas, a college internship in a public school—also known as a clinical internship—is a formal, supervised experience where a college or university candidate engages in practical, hands-on teaching or administrative duties within a public K–12 school, as part of their educator preparation.
To complete an Internship in Springdale Schools, you must have an approved Arkansas Educator Licensure System (AELS) background check. Please contact Mrs. Susan Middleton, Springdale Schools Business Office, at smiddleton@sdale.org to complete your AELS background check.
