Springdale Special Services

Welcome to the Springdale Public Schools Special Education Department! We are committed to providing high-quality, individualized services that help every student reach their fullest potential. Our team of highly qualified professionals works together to support students with disabilities across the district.

Our staff includes special education teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), school psychology specialists, occupational therapists (OTs), physical therapists (PTs), teachers of students with hearing and vision impairments, paraprofessionals, and many other specialized support staff. While some specialists serve multiple schools throughout the district, every school has dedicated special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and paraprofessionals who work closely with students, families, and school staff to provide individualized supports.

We value strong partnerships with families and believe that working together is the key to helping every student succeed. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's educational journey.

Link to ADE Child Find

Springdale Public School District follows the child-find obligations required under IDEA and the Arkansas Department of Special Education and Related Services Rules and Regulations, to ensure that all children with disabilities or suspected to have a disability are identified, located, evaluated and provided with free and appropriate services.  These activities include highly mobile children with disabilities such as migrant and homeless children, homeschooled children, and children in private schools.

If you have concerns regarding your child and suspect that they may have a Learning Disability, please contact your child's school to make a referral for Special Education.
