Parson Hills Principal
Springdale Public School has named Katherine “Katie” Wilson as the next principal of Parson Hills Elementary School.
She replaces Heather Cooper, who is retiring at the end of the 2025 school year.
“It is a deep honor to serve the students, staff, and families of Parson Hills,” Wilson said. “Springdale is home for our family. All three of our children attended elementary school here, and it’s a joy to continue investing in the district that has shaped our lives.”

Elmdale Assistant Principal
Springdale Schools has named Lindsay Hennarichs as the next assistant principal of Elmdale Elementary School.
"I’m incredibly excited to step into the role as Elmdale Elementary's newest assistant principal—not only because it aligns with my passion for education, but also because it gives me the opportunity to continue the legacy of excellence and care that this school has been built on," Hennarichs said.
"Mrs. Hennarichs is a seasoned Springdale administrator with a wealth of experience in elementary education. She is deeply skilled in pedagogical practices and brings a passion for student success and instructional excellence," said Springdale Schools Superintendent Dr. Jared Cleveland.

The School Board approved changes to the salary schedule for certified and classified employees at the May meeting.
Certified Salary Schedule: $500 will be added to the base of the schedule. This investment of approximately $1.08 million will raise the starting salary for a certified teacher with a bachelor's degree and no experience to $54,100.
Classified Salary Schedules: A 1% increase will be made to the base of all Classified Salary Schedules, effective July 1, 2025. This adjustment of about $400,000 reflects the district's appreciation for the essential contributions of our classified team members.
CTE Signing Day
The School Board celebrated the 180 Springdale Public Schools students who prepared to enter the workforce May 1 at the third-annual Career and Technical Education Signing Day event at Springdale High School.
Students from Archer Learning Center, Don Tyson School of Innovation and Springdale and Har-Ber high school participated in the event.
