Springdale Public Schools celebrated the opening of Jones PREP Academy Aug. 6 with a ribbon cutting ceremony, breathing new purpose into the historic Jones Elementary School campus.
Operating under the guiding motto "RESET · REFOCUS · RISE," the academy creates a school-centered continuum of care designed around the unified academic, behavioral-health, and family-support needs of students.
Jones PREP (Personal Responsibility and Educational Preparation) Academy, 900 S. Powell St., serves K-8 students in a highly structured, trauma-responsive learning environment. By uniting educators, behavioral health professionals and family services under one roof, the academy eliminates systemic fragmentation to deliver coordinated, whole-child support.
