Matthew Thomas is signing with Tyson Foods as Maintenance Technician. Throughout high school, Matthew has been a part of FFA, the SHS Agriculture Academy and JAG. Upon graduation Matthew plans to work as a Maintenance Technician and develop more skills in the area of Industrial Maintenance at Tyson.

Daniel Bejarao is signing with Nabholz Industrial. Throughout high school, Daniel has been a part of the SHS Agriculture Academy, the SHS Band and JAG. Daniel has worked for Nabholz as an Industrial Youth Apprentice over the past year. Upon graduation Daniel plans to continue working for Nabholz in Industrial Services and furthering education to improve his welding skills.
Mathew Tatum signing with Bryce’s White River Marine. Throughout high school, Mathew has been a part of the Swim team for 3 years, the SHS Agriculture Academy, FFA and JAG. Upon graduation Mathew plans to continue developing his skill as a Marine Technician at Bryce’s White River Marine where he has worked for the past year.
Luis Fonseca is signing with Wincast. Throughout high school, Luis has been a part of the JAG program and a member of the SHS Agriculture Academy. Upon graduation Luis is planning on working at Wincast. Wincast specializes in commercial and industrial concrete services.

Jhosse Orellana, a senior at Springdale High School, has signed a letter of intent to run cross country and track while attending the University of Arkansas at Rich Mountain. #THEChoice
Bravery Bracelets
Early April, 9th graders in the TOP program at Central and Southwest Junior High Schools made handmade bracelets and positive notes for persons living in transitional housing. Students learned about the importance of having these facilities in our community and why we should help build each other up. The community service was partnered with a lesson on learning from our mistakes and being resilient. Students donated 200 bracelets and notes to local organizations (Nicole's House, NWA Women's Shelter, and Peace at Home Shelter).
One TOP student wrote this note with their bracelet:
“I am so beyond proud of you! In my TOP class we have learned that you have to fail to succeed, so my message for you is to keep fighting! You are so loved!”
