It is always fun a Springdale High School! The students, faculty and staff were treated to the amazing music of Scythian! They played to a packed house and shared their story in the hopes of inspiring young bulldogs to pursue their life dreams! The students in the Seal of Biliteracy program introduced the band in English, Spanish and Marshallese.
Scythian roots music from Celtic, Eastern European and Appalachian traditions with thunderous energy, technical prowess and storytelling songwriting that beckons you into a barn-dance, rock concert experience. Nashville’s Music City Roots says Scythian is “what happens when rock star charisma meets Celtic dervish fiddling,” and The Washington Post claims “Scythian’s enthusiasm is contagious, and [their] shows seem to end with everyone dancing, jumping around"

Media Students from Springdale High School, Harber High School, Central Junior High, George Junior High, and Lakeside Junior High attend their first Media Career Panel at SHS Performing Arts Center on Monday September, 18.
Nearly 200 students attended this event. SHS will have three more panels scheduled for this school year, focusing on the Video/Film, Photography, and Audio industries. Their goal is to provide students with valuable insights into various careers within the media industry.

Back to school grandparent lunch allows for grandparents to visit their grandchildren and see the school. Hunt Elementary has welcomed grandparents to lunch since the school opened. Covid put a hold on the lunches; this is the second year of lunches since Covid.
Today was 1st 3rd and 5th grade students.
Lunch is held once a year in the fall, allowing grandparents to visit their grandchildren and explore the book fair.
