Hands-on learning is what it’s all about when you are part of the #SpringdaleFamily. Students gathered at Central Junior High and had some real fun!

Springdale High School hosted electrical, animal science, plant science, and welding camps for three weeks in June from several district elementary, middle, and junior high schools. The #Springdalefamily is aligning skills with the needs of our community!

Har-Ber High School students had the opportunity to tour Oklahoma State University's Veterinary School this week. Two college ambassadors showed the students around. Students were able to see inside of classrooms, laboratories, and the veterinary teaching hospital. The ambassadors told first-hand stories of what it is like as a student attending veterinary school. #SpringdaleFamily

Junior High & High School students attended a one-day poultry camp this week. The day included a tour of the Tyson Foods Discovery Center and a tour of the University of Arkansas Poultry Science Department including their processing facilities. Participants had the opportunity to participate in several hands-on activities to learn about aspects of the poultry industry.
