Current and former staff and students gathered for the John Tyson Elementary School is Golden: Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence event at May 8.
The celebration started as a dream for the school’s Educated Accelerated by Service and Technology students, said Jennifer Boogaart, John Tyson Elementary School EAST facilitator.
