This is why it is great to be a part of the #SpringdaleFamily! Gustavo Reyes, a senior from Springdale High School, was hired on the spot as a Heavy Equipment operator for the Rogers Group Quarry making $21 an hour! Gustavo is part of the SHS heavy equipment training program!

#SpringdaleFamily it is time to celebrate! Sarah Dennis, a Speech and Language Therapist at Turnbow Elementary, earned a national certificate to treat students with brain injuries. "The Brain Injury Association of America's Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS) is the nation's premier brain injury certification program. Applicants must have 500 hours of currently verifiable direct contact experience with an individual or individuals with brain injury and pass with 80% or higher on the proctored 2-hour certification examination. 10 hours of Continuing Education in the area of brain injury is also required to maintain this certification."
