Today Sonora Middle School celebrated Manit, a day celebrating Marshallese culture, as part of Spirit Week. Students and staff dressed in island-inspired clothing and accessories to honor the occasion. During Club time, students enjoyed activities highlighting Marshallese traditions—making shell bracelets, learning a cultural dance and hearing from special guests. It was a wonderful day of celebration, learning, and community! 🌊✨#SpringdaleFamily

Aubrey, Avery, and Kaylee from John Tyson Elementary School of Innovation shared their moving activity book, "America's White Table," with members of the VFW Post 2952 Auxiliary today. They honored the men and women of our armed forces who are missing in action or held as prisoners of war as part of POW/MIA Remembrance Day. The "white table" is a powerful symbol of their sacrifice. It's inspiring to see these young students learning about and honoring such an important part of our nation's history. Thank you, Aubrey, Avery, and Kaylee, for sharing your project!
